CHRISTMAS TREE PICK-UP

Residents may have their cut Christmas trees picked-up and recycled by placing them along the curb from January 3rd until February 14, 2020.  To facilitate recycling of trees, please observe the following rules:

  • Remove all lights, decorations and tree stands.
  • Once the tree is out of the house, please remove any tree bag or plastic and dispose. Plastic bags are not recyclable with the trees.
  • Do not remove limbs or cut tree in half.
  • Do not set-out other items with the Christmas trees, including wreaths and pine roping, which contain wire or metal frames. These items can not be recycled.
  • Do not place trees in alleys.

Depending upon the number of trees set out for pick-up, all streets will have trees picked-up at least once per week.  Trees are recycled through Upper Arlington/SWACO Yard Waste Recycling Program.

Grandview Parks and Rec will pick up and recycle cut Christmas trees from January 7 until February 4, 2019.  Please place them along the curb, not in the street. To facilitate recycling of trees, please observe the following rules.

TRASH AND RECYCLING PICK-UP FOR WEEK OF CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S DAY

For the week of Christmas and New Year’s Day the schedule for trash and recycling pick-up is as follows:

Instead of the regularly scheduled Friday trash and recycling, these items will be collected on Monday, December 31, 2018 (Christmas) and Monday, January 7, 2019 (New Year’s Day).  The regular trash and recycling schedule returns on Friday, January 11, 2019.
